Creative Work

In addition to work as a Production Sound Mixer, Dan is an active musician and video artist, under the pseudonym Doctor Breakfast. Using ambitious storytelling and incorporating video and music with a waking dream quality, Dan portrays an entire universe in which the characters can exist. 

D.I.Y. Pilot

Dan RosenHanst’s current project is a pilot for a series called D.I.Y, about a group of artists living in Bushwick who are being forced out of their home by a supermarket powerhouse. This pilot, which was accepted into the Fine Cuts Film Festival, features an ensemble cast of misfit characters. Written, Directed and Edited by Dan RosenHanst this project is his most ambitious so far.  

Music Videos

Dan RosenHanst is also a singer in the band Doctor Breakfast and the Fuzz. While in this band Dan has directed and produced all their music videos. DBATF’s latest creation “FEELS” is a music video using surreal imagery to startle the line between dream and reality.
